Millet Donation

Bone China Cups & Saucers (Andrew & Amelia Jensen)

Andrew and Amelia Jensen's granddaughter, Marilyn Millet, the donor of these items, passed along the following anecdote about them from her cousin Tanya:

"The cookie plate was in the breakfast room off the kitchen in the Newman house.  Your Aunt Clair told me a story about the plate.  They had a cat named "Dawnie" and she loved cookies, when your grandma would make them, she would make some small ones for the cat, she would put them on the plate, and  it would be put in the breakfast room.  Dawnie would jump on the sewing machine, look over all the cookies and very carefully chose one and removed it from the plate and never touch any of the other cookies."
