Fit Kids Summer Program Participants Visit The Newman Museum - 2024

On Thursday morning, July 25th, 2024, children ages 5-12 years from Newman's "Fit Kids" summer program visited the museum.  Chaperoned by Newman Recreation Director Alicia Mendoza, participants from the program were given an opportunity to explore the city museum which for many was a first time ever visit.  The hands-on experience was intended to give city youth an introductory insight into how the city began and how it has evolved over the years.
